Taste of Ancestors is built around this idea: Indonesian food heritage is culinary and cultural. A dish can hold a grandmother's voice, a village rhythm, a ceremony, a trade route or a family memory passed through generations.
As a documentary film, the project asks for patience. It listens before it explains. It treats food as a way into identity, ancestry and the people who keep traditions alive in everyday life.
